Longtime Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury knows a thing or two about recruiting, and San Antonio is not exempt from the Red Raiders’ interest. According to Kingsbury, Tech has gathered a solid class from the Alamo City – a group that he hopes will boost the lofty winning aspirations of his program moving forward.

Renowned for his offensive expertise, Kingsbury recently lost former coordinator Eric Morris to Incarnate Word, who previously served at the Tech job for five years.

In an interview with Sports2Nite anchor Hector Ledesma, coach Kingsbury talks scouring San Antonio for talent, (including high school prospects that are expected to start this upcoming season), the notable absence of coach Morris from the Lubbock sideline this fall, and fun activities he prefers in the San Antonio/New Braunfels area.
